Charlotte Health Symposium Offers Free Tests & Screenings

African American men in Charlotte will receive the opportunity to get tests and screenings done for prostate cancer, HIV/AIDS, blood pressure, high cholesterol, body fat, diabetes and glaucoma. The 2009 Health Symposium will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church from 8:30 a.m. till 1 p.m. and is open to the public. (Qcitymetro.com)
