Hometown Hero: Jessica Jeter
As fundraising and Youth United coordinator for York County's Habitat for Humanity, Jessica Jeter discusses her experiences and responsibilities. Here is our conversation.
Simply said, I'm a senior college student who loves the Lord, wants to live a life that pleases Him and help other people. One of the passions given to me is journalism. I immensely enjoy writing and reporting. I want to write for newspapers (print all the way), but I realize we live in a convergent world and the web is becoming the future. I enjoy working on Winthrop's student newspaper, The Johnsonian, tremendously and thank God for the experiences I've had, the people I've met and the many stories I've covered.
